Personal data that we process

DrEAMS Funding Consultancy processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide these data to us yourself.

Below you will find an overview of the personal data that we may collect, process and store:

  • Address details
  • Phone number
  • Email address and addresses for communication platforms such as Teams and Skype
  • Other personal data that you actively provide in correspondence and by telephone
  • Information about your organization such as location, Chamber of Commerce registration, VAT registration, bank account number (IBAN)

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years old,unless they have parental or guardian permission. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. We do not collect, process or store sensitive personal data such as ethnicity, religion or age, unless required for a funding proposal or project management. For proposal budgeting and financial project management, information on individual salaries and employment benefits, the client decides how such data will be provided.

For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data

DrEAMS Funding Consultancy processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Handling of your payment for our services
  • Sending our newsletter and/or advertising brochure
  • To call or e-mail you if this is necessary to provide our services
  • Inform you about changes to our services
  • To deliver our services to you
  • DrEAMS Funding Consultancy analyses your behaviour on our website to improve the website and to tailor the range of products and services to your preferences.
  • DrEAMS Funding Consultancy also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as data that we need for our tax return.

Automated decision making

DrEAMS Funding Consultancy does not use automated processing of data for decision making on matters that can have (significant) consequences for people. It is important to note that DrEAMS Funding Consultancy can prepare and submit on behalf of the client a funding proposal through an online grant system. The funding agency managing this system can use automated decisionmaking, for example to check for eligibility of the proposal. This is not within the span of control of DrEAMS Funding Consultancy.

How long do we keep personal data

DrEAMS Funding Consultancy does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to realize the purposes for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following (categories) of personal data:

  • Personal contact details – 7 years.
    DrEAMS Funding Consultancy mainly collects and processes personal data for the purpose of funding proposals and project management. We store this data for a period of 7 years (from the date of first application submission) because the data can be essential for any required proposal or project modification or as additional data-backup in case of project auditing.
  • Other personal data – 7 years.
    Within 3 months after the submission of a funding proposal, DrEAMS Funding Consultancy deletes all original personal data documentation related to your past and present work as provided by you through e-mail or sharing of files. It is important to note that DrEAMS Funding Consultancy retains the funding proposal itself for a maximum period of 7 years after submission for the purpose of required proposal modifications upon approval, project implementation and auditing. By default, part of the mentioned personal is included in the funding proposal.

Sharing personal data with third parties

DrEAMS Funding Consultancy does not sell your data to third parties and only provides it if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We conclude a processor agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. DrEAMS Funding Consultancy remains responsible for these processing operations.

Cookies or similar techniques that we use

DrEAMS Funding Consultancy uses functional, analytical and tracking cookies. Make your ID card photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the ID card), ID card number and Citizen Service Number (BSN) black in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.
